emberumAn resides in arimEya viNNaharam with periya pirATTi and Boomi pirATTi on both sides. He removes all sins of His dAsas and bless them. He is worshipped and sung by nitya sooris and the people of seven worlds. This divya dESa is beautiful with plenty of flowering plants and trees in the forests, lotus, Sengazhuneer and tAzhai in all ponds and places and well versed vaidikas who spread the fame everywhere. AzhwAr asks his mind not to go stupidly after worldly things but to worship Him.

My very sweet nectar (Aramudan) and kurumaNi resides in arimEya viNNaharam where vaidikas sing hymns with seven swaras and chant vEdas, teach itihAsas and purANas and who possess excellent guNas, that speak of the wealth of the city. Our swAmi who resides here is the one who killed narakAsura with His chakrAyudha, churned the pArkaDal with mandara mountain to give nectar to the dEvas. Oh! My mind! Worship and meditate His form.

He is the pirAn who once swallowed the brahma and dEvas, seven worlds and seven seas and all other objects. He is the pirAn who once killed the wild kuvaLayApeeDa whose head looked like pot and pulled kamsa from his throne, killed him causing relief and happiness to the Ayars. He resides in arimEya viNNaharam in nAngoor where there are punnai trees whose buds look like white pearls and bloomed flowers look like gold. The women of this city are very beautiful with hood-like hips and arrow-like eyes.

He—who split open the chest of hiraNya with His sharp nails and protected his son prahlAda—resides in tiru nAngoor where there are forests full of surapunnai trees, SeNbaga flowers, mallihai and Sengazhuneer flowers kamuhu (areca nut trees) dispersing their variety of aroma in the atmosphere. Added to it is the aromatic smoke from the sugarcane factories where jaggery is made by boiling the sugar cane.

emberumAn took a charming vAmana avatAra for the sake of indra and begged him only three feet of land. When He got it He measured them with huge trivikrama form the whole of upper regions, the Boomi, the oceans and all other objects. He resides in arimEya viNNaharam where—the sound of the playing of musical instruments, the sound of vEdic chanting, the sound of the buzzing of bees and the jingling sound of women’s anklets when they dance and walk—all of them together produce a sound similar to the roaring of the sea during praLaya when the waves rise sky high.

The son of daSaratha (Sree rAma) fought with rAvaNa, the king of lanka and cut off his ten heads and twenty arms since he abducted seeta pirATTi and put her in a secluded place. He is my sole asylum since He is the rakShaka as He is the chief of even nitya sooris. He resides in tiru arimEya viNNaharam where there are big lotus ponds. The fields are full of different kinds of fish like SEl, kayal and vALai. The farmers cut the red paddy crops along with the fish on them. They jump causing the grains (which are like pearls) to scatter on the ground which the beautiful low caste women collect.

emberumAn killed the rAkShasas called dEnuka and pootana who were sent by the wicked kamsa to kill kriShNa. He is dark in colour having manmatha as His son. He resides in arimEya viNNaharam—where vaidikas chant four vEas, meditate on His guNas, perform sacrifices, do pancha mahA yajnas, teach vEdAngas, discourse on itihAsas and purANas having mOkSha as their final goal.

Sree kriShNa—who killed kapittAsura by throwing vatsAsura on him causing the fruits to fall for the Ayar boys to eat; who lifted gOvardhana mountain to prevent the heavy rain tormenting the men and animals of AyarpADi; who played kuDakoottu; who is dark like clouds and who possess all auspicious guNas—resides in arimEya viNNaharam. The city is rich with great mansions, forts with flags flying on their walls, public halls with gem-studded walls, vaidikas who chant vEdas, wide roads, thick forests where birds chirp and flowers shed honey which the bees drink and sing with joy.

Sree kriShNa, the ever young bull ate—the life of pootana, the life of kamsa, the curds and butter that He could come across and the whole world (during praLaya). He resides in arimEya viNNaharam where—the vaidika brAhmaNas offer flower and anjali praying ‘Oh! hari! You are one sole refuge’; where the kAvEri flows bringing sandalwood trees, ahil trees and gold along her current; where the river irrigates the forests and fields bringing wealth and prosperity to the city.

emberumAn subdued the angry wild bulls for the sake of nappinnai pirATTi and had happily samslESha with her. He resides in arimEya viNNaharam—where vaidikas are well versed in vEdas like brahma (ayan anaivarhaL) and radiant like subramaNya (aranSEi anaiyavarhaL). tirumangai AzhwAr has sung ten pASuras on this emberumAn. Those who read and meditate on these pASuras will gain reputation here andlife as nitya sooris in paramapada. The number 5+3+1+1 a significant—there are five pASuras on kriShNa (2,3,7,8,9) three on narasimha. vAmana and rAma (4,5,6) one as archAvatAra (1) and one the Pala Sruti (10).
